COVID19: Green Mask Project

In2green Covid-19 Face MasksLike many small businesses across America and beyond, this is the most challenging time we’ve ever faced and we, like other brands, want to do all we can to help.

Our Green Mask Project

Why face masks? Both of us are married to physicians and know others on the front lines. We knew that we had an opportunity to give back to communities that were in need, especially families with children. We started by donating our baby hat & sock sets to new moms in clinics and shelters, but that just made us want to do more so we started creating eco-friendly face masks.

Face Masks Created With 100% Recycled Materials

We have spent so much of our time with In2Green focusing on yarn innovation, like our 100% recycled sun-resistant indoor/outdoor yarn, and if we were going to make masks, we wanted to make sure that they would be as effective and GREEN as possible.

We spoke to experts at textile research institutions, we read studies on fabrications, we put our husbands to work wading through medical research, and then we got to work on prototypes. We’re very proud of what we’ve produced in a short period of time.

In2green Face Masks: Efficient & Comfortable

Our green face masks are made from sustainable materials, comfortable to wear, fully machine washable, and have a pocket for a replaceable filter. They are also perfect canvases for kids to be able to decorate with fabric markers or beads.

As moms who spent hours and hours doing craft projects with our children, we hope these masks serve a dual purpose of being a fun D.I.Y project along with making your kids feel safer.

Purchase a Face Mask or Donate One

We are thrilled to be supporting organizations that need help right now, especially with the strain this is causing for many families. We will donate a mask, adult or child, for each mask sold. And if you don’t need a mask, you can simply pay to donate one.

Thank You For Your Support!

We are working with Project Home in Philadelphia and Brooklyn Community Housing and Services. We are still looking at new partners and will continue to update our list on our blog. If you have an organization and would like to partner with In2Green, please contact us.

Thank you again for being a part of our community. We hope we look back on this moment and know we were able to help people and keep our business going.
