So we were recently in Atlanta at the America’s Mart, where thousands of products are displayed in more than four buildings, all intended for the retail gift market. One of our stores, Zinc stopped by to see our new designs. What a treat it was to meet Rod and Tracey Berkowitz (husband & wife team) and founders of their own home and garden store in Lambertville, NJ. They were very animated about their store concept (recently voted Best of Philly!) and told us how they enjoy finding and creatively displaying industrial antiques and other modern farmhouse home goods. Some of our in2green throws are beautifully displayed among an eclectic mix of industrial and primitive pieces. It was wonderful to see our patterns so nicely arranged with their fun architectural items.
Before starting his own venture, Rod worked in store design and visual merchandising for major retailers like Restoration Hardware. Tracey, also experienced in interior design, loves the fact that in2green products are manufactured in the USA. With their garden and DIY design orientation, they feel that the recycled cotton content really appeals to their customers. These photos feature in2green’s coral design and the links, which they mentioned are often a favorite for second homes by the beach or in the country.
Rod and Tracey hinted that they might be expanding upstairs and may make room for some of in2green’s new children’s collection. If you are in the Lambertville Area, definately check out Zinc on Bridge Street or find them on Zinc’s Facebook.
