When Shalls Design Studio set out to refine the guest rooms at A-Lodge Boulder, the goal was clear: introduce a hospitality-grade bed runner that would unify the room design while reinforcing the property's brand identity.
The design team was drawn to In2Green's Swiss Cross with Stripes running line - a pattern with strong geometry and modern appeal. To personalize the piece for the boutique property, the center cross was replaces with the hotel's custom logo, creating a subtle but distinctive branded moment within each guest room.
The result is a textile that feels intentional, elevated, and unmistakably their own.
The Process
Inspiration: Selected from existing running line design.
Customization: Center motif replaced with hotel logo.
Color Development: Colors chosen from In2Green's swatch chain.
Visualization: Multiple CAD options provided in alternate colorways.
Sampling: Two physical samples produced.
Final Selection: Client approved final colorway and moved into production.
