Strokes and Stripes by Stacy Garcia | NY
Summer Collection Expansion on Trend for 2018
In2Green is thrilled about the debut of our latest collaboration with designer Stacy Garcia on our upcoming Spring 2018 collection. Stacy has earned her stripes (pun intended!) through years of on-target trend forecasting, and now, is partnering with In2Green to bring her designs to life – and your outdoor living room – in the most luxurious and sustainable way.
The fabric in our new outdoor collection is made of 100% recycled polyester; each throw is sourced from 78+ plastic bottles. The specific yarn/knit eco construction is our own invention, and knit on sweater machines for the ultimate in softness. The manmade fibers are quick to dry and won’t fade in the sun, making them perfect for relaxed outdoor living.
Our partnership with Stacy is born out of our constant aspiration to surround ourselves with strong, like-minded, design-led women. Doing so makes our business better, smarter, more empowered- and the effects can literally be felt in the fabric of our work. Our workshop is abuzz, spinning good vibes.
This Spring collection newly features two of Stacy’s beloved designs – now available for the first time in our sumptuous poly textile for use as an outdoor throw: the Cabana Stripe in 4 colors, and the Brushstroke Botanical in 2 colors. Consistent with Stacy’s extensive trend forecasting, the brushstroke motif is being lauded as a strong trend for 2018. The green version of this gorgeous digital design is also a nod to the bold palm fronds that have graced every design magazine page this year.
The classic Cabana Stripe design feels very at home knit in our versatile poly blend made especially for outdoor lounging. We picture ourselves on a sun-bleached resort veranda, draped across a pool lounge, accessorized by large sunglasses and an even larger hat, just waiting for you to return with a cold drink and a good book. Stacy hand-selected each of the available colors based on her in-depth color trend forecasting. Orange, camel, and pink on one stunning throw? Yes please!
